Wonderful host and a wonderful place to have breakfast with a view. Would highly recommend this place as you travel the north coast 500.

This hotel is a shining example to others. Everything is super. The service is excellent, staff lovely, food excellent. Ambiance is relaxing. Location not bad either! Country house hotel at its best, without any of the stuffiness. As as solo traveller I felt very comfortable. I will make a point of returning. No complaints whatsoever.

Great stay and helpful staff !

The hostel was clean and comfortable. Room and bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. The view from the panoramic lounge was amazing and it was well stocked with board games and toys for the children to play with. Torridon is a short walk away with a general store and there is a lovely cafe nearby too.

One night stay on the NC500. Guest house is right in the centre of town and close to all amenities. Kathleen, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful giving me recommendations for where the eat and where shops etc were. Room was fantastic, well decorated and comfortable with a deep clawfoot bath in the en suite. Breakfast is included and very good quality. I’d highly recommend this reasonably priced guest house to any visitors.

Perfect location, heating took a while to warm the pod, shower and bath both great. The sign is missing for parking so not obvious where you should park. Other than that it was almost a 5 out of 5!

We had the pleasure of staying with Marion & Moray recently. We survived the applecross pass drive! The complementary wee dram was very welcome after the drive & fighting the midges while watching the sunset at the beach. We were in a top floor room. Chatted with Marion & Moray that evening & over the full breakfast offering, talked about Applecross & some culture, events & travel tips which we were useful and gladly adopted! Great hotel, reasonably priced room and food. Food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. Great quality large mattress on the bed and large flat screen TV. Loved the bear and wellies as room accessories to indicate 'do not disturb' or 'please clean room'. Homemade shortbread in the room was a nice touch. Fire in bar very cheerful, made for a good atmosphere. Stunning views from the dining room. Can't fault it.

This hotel is run by a friendly husband and wife team. I was met by a welcoming receptionist who explained my dining options. I had alternative evening dinner plans but opted for the cooked breakfast. Excellent service served by Becca who delivered a hot breakfast with all the trimings. The food, service and accomodation here would make this hotel my 1st option when I return to Loch Carron.

Price was reasonable for Skye. Warm, cozy, loved every minute!

Hotel was really nice we booked last minute and the views near by are amazing Gent on reception/bar/kitchen was really polite and helpful as he was there on his own because of holiday season Internet was down due to a bad storm that made the stay more remote as civilisation and home comforts were almost 1.5 hours away Don’t let that put you off when fully staffed and WiFi working I can only imagine the stay would be even better
