"I really liked the room but I did not like the neighborhood, Drug addict bums everywhere! It seems very dangerous at night although nobody bothered us. Not sure what the point of valet is when it's closed when you arrive at night to check in? Especially when there's free parking from 10pm to 8am everyday on the street immediately next to the property."

"Basically, most everything was great. The location was great; the hotel itself is beautiful. All the staff that we interacted with were very professional and very helpful whenever asked a question. There were only two things that were problems. The first was the Wi-Fi did not work in the room we were assigned. After contacting the desk a tech rep came to our room. He told us the system was not working in that part of the hotel. I went to the front desk and conversed with the clerk and requested we be moved to another room. He was very quick to find another room for us and told me to call the desk as soon as we were ready to move and someone would be sent up to assist. I did as asked and a worker arrived and assisted with the move to the other room. The only other thing that was difficult was the bathroom in the second room. It was very tiny. There was barely enough room to move about when using the toilet and when using the shower. However we made it work. These were the only faults/difficulties we encountered."

"Located near lots of sights and restaurants/bars downtown and still walkable to Slabtown. Only 2 blocks from the Tri-Met, too. Beds are comfy, showers have good water pressure, and the walls aren't thin. The bar downstairs is pretty nice, too. Downtown Portland is what it is, but this location is convenient and safe. Unless the prices skyrocket, I'll likely keep staying here."

"Our room was very nice, quiet and clean. I especially appreciated the pillows as they were squishy, not firm. The air conditioner took a bit to figure out, but was fine. Likewise, the shower. Nice to have a tub, separate from the shower. My main complaint was that like in Europe, they don’t have washcloths! I would have called housekeeping, but was ready to step into the shower when I found that out. So,I used a hand towel…not a great solution. Perhaps it was an oversight? Otherwise, a good place to stay!"
