We had a few problems with our accommodation at the start of the holiday but these were quickly resolved. This hotel was very spacious, modern and peaceful. Room was comfortable and tasteful. Bed was huge and nice bathroom. Was cleaned every day if required. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and well kept. Most guests were older couples, mainly German, which meant it was nice and quiet with no loud drunk Brits if you know what I mean 😉. We only booked last minute but it was more than we expected....not far from airport, quick efficient service when we arrived. Apartment was amazing, very clean everything available, beautiful view from the room, private pool, if your looking for a luxury, laid back, quiet holiday then this is the place. Nothing is too much for the staff very helpful always smiling....we will be back

Excellent facilities, great food. Visited numerous times & always love it. Recommend the Spa, best to upgrade to a suite with sea view if you can. The hotel is placed halfway between the town centre & Rubicon Marina on the walkway by the sea which gives you the option to turn left or right for a stroll or different restaurants to compliment those at the hotel & to provide additional variety.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, ideally located close to the beach. We decided to go with breakfast only which was very nice. There is the town of Morro Jable 5 minutes taxi ride away which has some lovely restaurants and bars at the seafront. This is where we went for dinner as we didn't want to be "tied" to the hotel every evening. Would definitely recommend the hotel and location.

Have just returned from ten days at the Hisperia ,our second visit . A perfect stay, this hotel is lovely with a great location right by the beach of playa dorado, with the marina Rubicon one side and shops and restaurants the other. The pools are lovely and always plenty of sunbeds. The food is also good and you would be hard pushed not to find something you like, the desserts are particularly yummy . The staff are helpful and the rooms were kept spotless .

An absolutely gorgeous hotel; fantastic food, amenities, entertainment and children’s activities. But, above all else, the staff are awesome. I went on holiday with my 5 year old son after losing my wife and his mum to cancer 6 months previous. It was his first holiday abroad and my first without my wife. Many tears were shed but the staff went above and beyond to make this holiday special, I will never forget their kindness to me and especially my boy.

We had a great time. The sea views are amazing and the staff very friendly. We really recommend it to our family and friends. See you next time!

This was our third stay at the Calypso. There is nothing to say negatively about the hotel. Many locals and some hotel staff have a better command of German than English because of the number of German guests staying in this area.

Very peaceful setting for the hotel with several restaurants closeby. The most delicious breakfast was served with such a variety each day. Comfortable and clean room with friendly staff. There are no tea or coffee facilities and the bar wasn't open but we would highly recommend the Hotelito.

Great break. Food was really good and varied. The weather was surprisingly good right up to Christmas Day itself which started windy and slightly overcast but soon cleared up. Only issues were lift broken down for a couple of days and bathroom could have done with a decorate/refurb.

Nice hotel, lovely rooms and amazing food! Close to supermarket and shops and numerous restaurants and bars. A 3 min walk from the beach. Has a small shop on site for gifts and booking excursions. My advice would be to book a sea view room (away from the hustle and bustle of the evening and pool entertainment) and go half board to take advantage of the amazing food. Wonderful service. Beautifully decorated for Xmas. Choice of 3 restaurants for food. Great cocktails. Definitely worth upgrading to privilege Be warned….pool not heated.

Did B&B, good choice for Breakfast Good size Suite and Bedroom, very clean and cleaned every day. Big Balcony to sun bathe on. Good location for the Beach and just a small walk to the shops and Restaurants which did excellent Meals. Would Recommend and would stay again.
