"We were blown away by the room! Absolutely enormous. Huge living area, two reasonable size bedrooms. The kitchen area was great. Enormous balcony. We chose this hotel as it had a washing machine and drier (very conveniently in the bathroom). But everything else about it was great. We got the impression it’s a bit of a magnet for bigger groups of people (hotel was obviously strict about “No parties in rooms!”. However we heard no noise whilst staying. Walkable to the centre of town. Overall a great stay and a great find. Biggest hotel room we’ve seen in years! Nice staff on reception. Highly recommend. "

"This is a really nice hotel with wonderful staff. The restaurant is great for breakfast and dinner. Loved the tea time from 3-5 and happy hour 5-7 definitely worth the extra $$$ lounge fee. "

"Nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good with nice choices, but Fruit wasnt the best bananas always brown and fruit looked pale.... Parking is right next door but expensive and no discounts for hotel guests. location was fab and staff very friendly. We would stay again. Room was cleaned and tidied every day. Only bad part was the water pressure is very weak"

"The staff were super friendly, the room was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. It's an easy walk to queer bars just around the corner and close to UOA. Will stay here again when next in Auckland."
