"Amazing views and meals."

"This place is a birder’s paradise. They have every tropical habitat you could want on the back trails, and proper guides to spot the birds. The rooms are very good, the front desk staff was charming. The views are spectacular. The feeders are jammed with birds. Only negative was that we were almost totally rained off for 24 hours, but that’s what can happen in a rainforest. I already want to return. "

"After reading several reviews that surfaced post-booking, I almost cancelled our reservation. However, we decided to chance it, and I am so glad we did! We stayed in a superior bungalow as a family of four (two adults, two teens) and had a wonderful experience. The superior bungalow was spacious and well-equipped with a functional AC, mini-fridge, and seating for four. The beds were firm, which I prefer. Housekeeping was excellent, visiting daily to mop and change towels; we felt completely safe leaving our belongings in the room. The hospitality was some of the best we have ever received. Cesar and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to help us. Regarding concerns about pests: the bungalows are rustic, so while a few ants or a gecko might pop in, we saw no mosquitoes or roaches. It felt very clean. The property is near a busy road, so traffic noise is audible, but we used earplugs to sleep soundly. Any noise was worth it for the view; sipping coffee while looking at the volcano was a highlight. Meals were basic but decent, affordable, and convenient. For those seeking more of an authentic, rustic experience with amazing views and top-tier service, I highly recommend this spot. For luxury, look elsewhere, but for us, it was just right! "

"What a wonderful place! The wildlife was all around, the breakfast was delicious (even for my picky kids), the room was authentic, and the views of the rainforest and volcano were spectacular. "

"Beautiful grounds. Loved the variety of hot springs and views of arenal. Pool was nice. Private cottages. Exceeded my expectations. Slightly away from the town (shopping and restaurants) so you will have to rely on Ubers if not driving which during busy times and high traffic can take a while to get places. area is not pedestrian friendly. Breakfast is wonderful with lots of variety. "

"Great location—close to town, yet peaceful with beautiful volcano views. The one-floor rooms made it very easy and convenient to get around. There are also restaurants nearby, so you don’t even need to go into town."
