Nothing spectacular. Usual ibis features. Very friendly staff though. Quick check-in. Lots of free parking. Opposite a Mcdonalds and a foodie pub. Nothing else is walkable, but ideal location for myself for a work visit.
Basic. It's a bed. No decor in the room, felt bare, boring and empty. Hard chairs no soft furnishings. Room and bathroom was clean. Breakfast was good, full English, but they don't cook eggs, so scrambled or nothing.

The room wad very dated and tired. Shower had very low pressure so that was very disappointing, a good working shower should be a minimum. Beds, furniture and room all a little tatty and dirty. Breakfast was passable, not worth the money though.
There was a bit of the situation where I have reached the hotel but booking reservations wasn’t showing on the hotel computer system.
Booking was booked over one hour ago.
Receptionist Toni was so helpful and went out her ways to help me. Very kind and very mature for her age. She does deserve appreciation and applause 👏 she is an asset to Ibis Wellingborough hotel.

For a 2 star hotel it was ok but pricey compared to other offerings - while the room had all basic needs, the sofa was dirty and some of the grouting needed replacing. The shower drain was very slow. The TV was on audio description and the remote did not have sufficient admin rights to change it and the audio was very loud. Facilities were ok. Next door to a Macdonalds and a pub (but it does close early!). There is some basic food and a small bar onsite.

Not up to expectations and stay spoilt by noise.
We had stayed in an Ibis Styles previously, so perhaps expected more due to that experience, which was really good. The room was okay, except that no hand towels had been provided and we were given a bath mat, when asking for a towel! However, the worst part of the experience was the noise from the repair (?) work being undertaken outside the door to our room, starting rather early in the morning.
On arrival and leaving the staff were very polite and friendly. The room wasn't very clean, the beds were two singles put together with the quilt to small and not fitting across both beds properly, plus the pillows were very small and only one each. No spoons to make a drink, no remote control for TV, the bathroom had no extractor fan, so when you had a shower it became steamy! Plus one of the towels had dirty marks on one side. So it's with regret we won't be stopping there anymore....
If staying at this location, request an even numbered room at the front of the hotel, as the noise from the road is constant and sleep distrubing for odd numbered rooms which directly face onto the road.
Hotel is tired and needs a refurb.
There were hairs in the shower cubicle - the ventilation fan stayed on constantly. Two of the three towels provide had holes in them and were frayed. Stains everywhere and small wholes in the curtain.
The bedside angled reading lights weren't working and even more surprisingly all of the lamps and lighting were old traditional energy consuming technology, Not an LED Lamp in sight which of course could save the hotel a fortune in energy costs and last longer.
Wake up IBIS / ACCOR Management team.....this location is in desperate need of a update and refresh
First of all I didn't get the room that I booked so instead of telling me that at reception they just took my room payment. They put me in a room with 2 beds pushed together. No chair for the table, completely dated room, incredibly un-appealing. This place looked like more of a college dormitory than an actual hotel. Staff were young and rude without offering a managers assistance. Chose to book at another hotel close by. Drinks were out on tap also what a joke. The place is really beaten up and unprofessional. Clearly I wouldn't stay there if my life depended on it because I went to another hotel. No refunds offered and no support provided by the hotel for them not having the room that I booked with them. Oh and they disconnected their phone line - yeah that's the kind of place this is!
Actually a nice hotel. Room was pleasant and warm. Great wifi and very comfortable. The food was reasonable, however the breakfast was really great, loads of choice and plenty of it. Staff every helpful and welcoming.

The front desk staff helped with a converter plug and I was very thankful. But I had an issue with getting a taxi even though I went to the desk and they helped me call the taxi company. The taxi was late and I barely made my train. They need to know to call for Wellingborough dispatch and not the general Skyline number. There was much confusion and my stay did not end well because of it.
Good staff
CCTV needed in certain locations due to car scratch all around both sides. My thoughts are one of the services in there impotant natures of self importance.
Unfortunately there was only one member of staff working when we arrived about 6pm to then be told it was a selective menu as she was working on her own! Running the bar, cooking in the kitchen and maintain reception. I think this is so unsafe and didn’t really feel safe staying there with my little boy myself. I then went to my family room to find a pull out single sofa bed with the thinnest of mattress! (I have thicker mattress topper on my bed at home) I then went down to see if there was any other rooms with a better bed for my 8 year old son! The lady was so helpful but unfortunately all the room was the same! We then had to go out to get something to eat as was only pizza on the menu! We then come back to find people smoking weed in the rooms! I did mention the the girl working there and said I do no expect her to go up and say anything as I think this is a big risk with her being there alone!
