"Staff was not friendly during my stay, and the initial greeting did not feel welcoming. I also experienced issues in my room, including no internet service and no TV. While the staff did provide guidance to get the TV working and politely directed me to the support number for internet assistance, the overall experience fell short of expectations."

"Not So Good: The workout room was disappointing. The treadmill was out of order. The elliptical machine was not working. Would light up and then stop when started. The floor needed to be swept. The hotel did seem a bit worn and dated in wall coverings and furnishings. Porch door was a bit unstable - felt like it didn't shut / lock well. Good: The hotel was clean. Beds were comfortable. The river view is lovely. The rushing sound of the water, the mist rising on a cold morning . . lovely."

"They charge your credit card a $100 "incidentals" fee!! Without telling you! For a 1 night stay, how could i possibly need $100 for incidentals? Absurd! An egregious practice. Will not be staying here again."

"We stayed here and it was very convenient for us. We were there for the casino, FYI they offer free shuttle to the casino until 1 a.m.! Easy check-in, easy check-out and the staff was amazing. Thank you! Definitely staying here again. "

"Loved that our large deck was about 6' from the creek as it swiftly flowed over rocks making little white caps and white sound of rushing water soothed away all our troubles There's a large round wrought iron table on the deck with armed chairs. Bring a cushion. The interior is a one bedroom corrage. The fully stocked kitchen isn't fully stocked, however. 3 nice pots, but only one fry pan, an older "copper," finish. The only spatula made for coated frypans is extremely flimsy. They have nice stainless steel ones, however. Good to use on the outdoor grill. The queen size bed is to die for, lots of closet room as well. Nice big natural stone gas log fireplace that doesn't work. Would be helpful in taking the chill off. But there is one electric healer built into the living area wall, and a baseboard heater in the bedroom. All in all, we had a great time. "

"The lodge was very nice but Expedia really let me down. The Lodge had no booking for me. The staff at the lodge was no help at all so I had to pay for the three nights again on another card. I have not resolved this yet Expedia. I would highly recommend this lodge in Bryson City NC. "
