Lovely pub with rooms, great food and location.
Food is superb, wide choice of drinks, car park for residents, friendly staff, clean, bespoke and a great location for exploring by car or foot. Less than one mile to Lulworth Cove and associated facilties. We will go back.

Great midweek getaway
We enjoyed a very enjoyable 2 night midweek stay, we were warmly welcomed by Ian, who along with his staff ensured a pleasant stay. We were moved rooms because of the kitchen extract fan, which was very much appreciated Great location for many places to visit in local area Excellent food (especially breakfast) and Beer 😀 Thanks & regards to the team Ian

Book it, you will love it.
Castle inn is the perfect accommodation for a short trip to explore the stunning fishing village and countryside. We had excellent food, beer and the room was tastefully decorated. staff very friendly and chatty if you want to converse. we loved our stay and will definitely return one day.

We stayed for Camp Bestival and it was great to come back to a clean comfortable room to sleep. The staff was very helpfuland nice. Breakfast was good.

Interesting and different od pub. Room too small to have a chair or table to use computer on. So had to spend hours in the bar: nice but dont like holding down a table without imbibing. Bathroom terrific and bed comfortable. Heating works fine. Free bottle of wine was limited to Proseco and none visible in the small fridge. Excellent menu and service.

A Quick Night on the Jurassic Coast
We spent a night at Castle Inn during our long weekend trip to the Jurassic Coast. We travel frequently and this was, by far, the best and most comfortable stay we've had in many years. The staff are outstanding. We found everyone to be friendly, helpful, and warm. Our room "Mupe Bay" was very comfortable, beautifully decorated and had an excellent shower. My wife loved the essential oil toiletries. We had a lovely dinner after arrival and a fantastic breakfast the next morning, which provided much-needed fuel for a long day of fossil hunting. 10 for 10, we recommend a stay here to anyone and we will book with Castle Inn again when we're in the area.

Wonderful old pub. We stayed for 3 nights recently with our dog. The room we were given had all comforts for our dog. There was not a single dog hair or smell about the room that suggested dogs used it, it was spotless. The staff were attentive and very friendly and I would not hesitate to recommend to family. A gem in the most perfect setting.
Perfect for a relaxed stay. Friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome and at home from the start. Comfortable and stylish room with plenty of tea and coffee and a fridge full of chilled drinks. The toiletries supplied smelled gorgeous. We enjoyed the choice of freshly cooked breakfasts and evening meals in the cosy bar area wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We had a great stay while visiting for a wedding at Lulworth Castle - the staff were very friendly and bent over backwards to help us with our room being ready in advance to get changed in. Great breakfast and a beautiful room. Would definitely stay again when in the area.
