"The traditional style of the building made for a very cool stay, the room was nice and felt spacious and the beds were comfortable to sleep on as well. I also loved the plants and neighborhood that surrounded the ryokan too. All made for a very comforting stay."

"Amazing experience. The line to Check-in snaked all around the lobby almost to the door. The staff kept the line moving and Check-in was a smooth process. It's in a great location. Attractions and transportation options are in a walkable distance. "
"There's only outdated reviews on Expedia but based on my experience:
Hotel is clean and is nearby public transportation. However hotel location isn't in the safest neighborhood, I was actually warned by locals in the area.
Front desk staff isn't friendly at all. Stopped at front desk a few times to get information about area, they came off standoffish.
The "bed" isn't comfortable at all.
I made the best of it for a few days however I wouldn't return. "

"Just what I was looking for. Very clean (appears new), staff at front desk very helpful and pleasant. Very close to shopping mall and walkable to Osanbashi pier and China town."
