"We got a room with a loft which had two singles for the kids. They loved it. However, I was unsure about the safety of the arrangement - son had to be convinced not to leap off the balcony onto the double bed downstairs. Also, the stairs up to the loft had a weird gap between the stairs and the wall which was the perfect size to put a foot down and potentially break a leg in the night. So low marks for safety. But the amenities were good and location close to walk to shops and restaurants and the rooms and grounds were clean, so high marks elsewhere. "

For us, instead of being lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves at night, we were able to hear the river and drop off to sleep with that beautiful sound, it really was a luxury home away from home.
