Clean and well equipped room with a microwave, kettle, toaster and hot plate, as well as cutlery and crockery. Tea and coffee and some milk pods provided. The grounds are really well kept and there is a nice kids’ play area. The pool is small and unheated and could do with a clean. The communal barbecues really need some maintenance, as the burners are rotted through and barely work.

Stayed for Ironman 70.3 Worlds at Taupo. It is a bit of a drive, but was worth it to get away from the congestion. Motel was in really good shape and the staff was nice and helpful.
