"4 out of 5 stars Great family suite and pools, a few service misses kept it from being perfect
We stayed at Hilton Grand Vacations at Kings’ Land in Waikoloa, Kona from March 12–18 and overall had a very good experience. The resort is beautiful, the suite was huge and spotless every day, and the pools were the highlight—clean, warm, and fun for the kids even when it rained. My children still talk about how much they loved the water slides and lazy river, and that alone made the trip worthwhile.
A couple of things did stand out though. We arrived very late on check-in night and asked the front desk if we could buy a couple of bottles of water (everything nearby was closed). "Very friendly front desk, valet and concierge staff. Concierge was very informative and helpful. They made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Provided lots of options and suggestions for local spots and things to do specific to our needs. Also helped book a cruise through them. Very clean room, amazing location."
"The condo was dated. 2” Ceramic tile counters kitchen and bath. Wall to wall carpet dirty. Old kitchen appliances. Limited kitchen ware. Expect to bring everything, salt, plastic wrap, supplies. No beach chairs.
Patios outside were nice; views from all windows were exceptional. Pool was comfortable with lots of loungers, umbrellas, tables and chairs. We had no contact with any staff, except friendly gardeners. "
