Lovely old colonial style property on the top of a hill with sweeping views of the surrounding area. Very comfortable and clean rooms, nice pool area, large well-kept grounds with tame peacocks everywhere. The one restaurant serves great food with very attentive and friendly staff. This is a very clean hotel with awesome breakfast, next to almost everything in Madurai. The service was awesome, despite our special request of boiling hot water and a bucket of cold clean RO (reverse osmosis) water everyday to give bath to our two year old. (There was one day where they delayed our request, but after my complaint they were efficient the rest of my three day stay.) YOu can never go wrong with this hotel. One night stay to experience the Periyar reserve close by. Our room was enormous and located near the very back of the property. Sadly building works are directly next to the property so we heard angle grinding. Mgr tried to stop them but only the rain did. Staff amazing. Food delicious. Great cocktails and beers. Location is very central. Rooms are nice and clean. The staff will go above and beyond to help. My dad had dietary requirements and the chef Tom made him his own meal.

A lovely, pretty hotel with helpful staff, a nice swimming pool and very good food. We were very comfortable there.

The amenities are very good, the staff is very friendly and helpful, it’s proximity to Meenakshi Temple and the Railway station makes it a perfect place for a short visit to the city of Madurai.

We stayed two night in this hotel and were greeted by a very friendly and professional staff. They gave us a very personal experience, took us out trekking. I would recommend this to anyone that want's a great experience with excellent food and very nice venue. Very clean and well maintained hotel.
