We booked this in error thinking it was in Hanoi. But Hanoi is about hour taxi ride from there. Luckily, the hotel was brilliant and we visited the most beautiful Monastery high in mountains, beautiful lake and the stunning village where the clouds touch the buildings as it’s so high up , tam dao. These turned out to be our fav places !’
The hotel , staff, food, service is immaculate! Also have lovely outdoor pool and jacuzzi’.
We found out it’s mainly a business hotel but we loved every min...

Amazing resort and big! If you are after remoteness, quiet but loads of physical stuff to do - this is for you. We were here mid April and very few western people here at all. Not too hot either but loads of sun. Don't get ripped off with a taxi more than 400,000 dong (sounds a lot but actually about 10 quid). We did from the airport and paid 3 times that much, but learnt for the trip back. Fantastic resort - still building in areas but we did not see much of it and did not disturb us. Top tip -...
