"This is a really exceptional hotel overlooking a watering hole in the bush where one can spend many hours watching the elephants, zebras, antelopes, warthogs etc. pass by. The room we stayed in was like a duplex apartment and was very comfortable and well appointed. The staff were super warm and friendly and were very eager to help with organising tours and just generally making your stay peaceful, relaxing and comfortable. The outdoor pool area looked like a natural pond and was a super spot to relax. We had an amazing 4 days here. Thanks"

"Fantastic friendly staff, great pools, complex is a bit old and tired but lovely grounds and amenities, and still a lovely hotel. Room servicing was good, turndown service was a bit hit and miss, laundry service was efficient, restaurant was quite good, shuttle was awesome and the drivers were exceptionally accomodating and helpful, golf was great, course is a little rough but the caddies were great. The only thing that irked us was that when we paid cash for a drink at the pool bar, or golf course fees, change was not forthcoming. I don’t mind handing it back as a tip but it shouldn’t be assumed. We had no such issue inside the hotel at the bar. "

"This perfectly located hotel within walking distance of the Victoria Falls National Park has beautiful grounds (with antelope, baboons and, one night, a hippo), warm and helpful staff, delicious food and a beautiful pool. A shuttle was available to take us to its sister hotel (The Palms) to use its small but well equipped gym. Highly recommended."

"The staff were the starts of the lodge. Richard at the bar was a true gentleman. The catering staff were simply amazing and always polite. Let's not forget the gardner who kept the place nice and lush and the pool clean. Our son was in the pool everyday. Great fun."
