Hotel Reiter is a great hotel, it’s very clean and the staff are really helpful and friendly and go out of their way to help. It’s very close to the beach and there is cycle hire available a few doors down, great for exploring the lido. There is also a discount in the hotel bar/restaurant available for guests. Amazing hotel! This place really deserves 5 stars! The staff is on point with their service, super friendly and helpful. The location is great as well, 5 min walk to San Marco plaza and 10 min walk to Rialto bridge. It’s also 2 min walk to Sta Maria del Giglio which is the stop that will take you to/from the airport at a cost of 15€ (one way) rather than spending a fortune in a taxi. Exceptionally easy to get to from Rialto bridge. Its central location was ideal for a short walk to many places not least the Rialto and St Marks square, with plenty of places to eat and drink equally accessible. The welcome from the front desk was very friendly and efficient (a theme we encountered with every member of hotel staff throughout our short stay). A lovely cosy hotel which is about a 30 second walk to San Marcos square. The rooms were clean and spacious, the breakfast perfect for that get up and go and the staff always keen to help

The hotel was right next to the canal with a nice open square by the entrance. Rooms were lovely and there were tables off the bar/lounge where you could sit and watch the boats go by.

Very well appointed modern hotel suite within a beautiful old building that is ideally situated for San Marco & Realto. We had views over a canal & enjoyed watching the gondolas & other boats going past. Staff were very friendly & welcoming with very good english & the suite was serviced every day. We stayed here first week in June 2014 for our Silver Wedding Anniversary. Hotel was fantastic. A beautiful setting away from busy Venice. Train station only about a 20 minute walk from hotel and journey takes about 25mins to get to Venice. Hotel offers a taxi service to and from train station and also airport. Staff were extremely helpful. You also have a use of free bikes to cycle around the town. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Located on the mainland and not the islands, but ideal if you need parking and prefer day trips in. €20 for a day pass which includes bus & tram to the islands (30 minutes and very easy) and also includes water taxis all day. The local area is also loaded with amazing restaurants which are much, much cheaper than the islands and possibly some of the best food I have ever had! The hotel itself is amazing. Pool and gardens are amazing and the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable....

Lovely spacious room. Old style decor but kept clean. We had a balcony and a view of the streets. Good air conditioning, nice staff.
