"Unparalleled location just outside the gates leading to the Leaning Tower. Decadent cafe for breakfast across the street, multiple fantastic restaurant options for dinner. Guest house was beautifully ornate with frescos on the walls. Our suite was spacious and recently renovated. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. Ideally situated for a wonderful time in Pisa!"

"We stayed one night. Very convenuent for the station. Room was small but fine with useful air conditioning. There is someone on reception 24 hours. They spoke English well. The breakfast buffet was good and I could make pot of tea. Easy walking distance of town and restaurants. I would be happy to stay again."

"The best thing about this hotel is the view from the rooftop bar. The restaurant has virtually no vegetarian options so we could not dine and enjoy the view. The rooms are extremely dated and in urgent need of basic upgrades, There was only 1 power socket that took a standard Euro plug. All the others only accepted the older narrow 2 pin plugs."

"The staff were wonderful and the cafe at the entrance quite good and obviously very convenient. The room was comfortable and we liked the location, with easy walking distance to the river and restaurants (try La Ghiotteria, a recommendation from the staff). On the downside, while the room was air conditioned it seemed to have been locked to not cool as much as we would have liked during our very hot stay (presumably an energy efficiency measure). Further, the shower was very small with a clingy curtain. These negatives were minor and overall we would recommend Hotel Verdi to others."
