Domus Zamittello is a splendid hotel formed out of an historic Maltese noble palace. It is perfectly situated in the heart of Valletta, with easy walking to most of the city, including the Cathedral, art galleries, museums, shops, buses, ferry, The greatest attribute is the entire staff at this hotel because I found them to be always helpful, kind and cheerful. We had a lovely time staying here. The staff were very friendly and helpful: Neil in particular gave us lots of good tips for what to see. There was a small hiccup with the check in process (I think stemming from the fact that we'd booked through Expedia and not directly through the hotel itself), but that was resolved without fuss. We loved the style of this hotel and the location was excellent. The staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. And, every day there's a special treat of Prosecco on the roof terrace! Fantastic.

Just come back at from a wonderful stay at Palais Le Brun. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room was fantastic. Nice breakfast. Spacious, very clean and very quiet. Hotel is a only a short walking distance to just about everything in Valletta. Plenty of nearby shopping, dining galore and interesting historical places to visit. Desk was very helpful in arranging transport and advice on day trips and booking. The roof area with the pool was a nice place to relax after a long day....

Excellent location right at the heart of Valletta close to just about everything. Plenty of bars and restaurants just a few minutes away. Staff were all friendly and very helpful. Rooftop small pool and loungers with a stunning view of the harbour. Breakfast was included with a good range of hot food from the menu. Nice little bar. All in all we were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend.

This is a very special hotel. Clean, calm and comfortable, it is an oasis of peace but with all that Valletta has to offer literally on the doorstep. Our sea view room had an amazing view of the Grand Harbour, and the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. What a wonderful stay in central Valletta! We enjoyed 9 days in the Layla Penthouse, with a comfortable seating area outside and great views of the city. Lots of sites, shops and restaurants close by, and a 10 minute walk max to the bus terminal. It was quite noisy until around midnight, which we expected from a central location. I don't think I've ever stayed in such a lovely hotel. Absolutely everything has been thought of. The staff, especially the owners were friendly and very helpful indeed. It is a new hotel and is beautifully furnished and decorated with lovely light and airy public areas

Really loved this hotel and all of its staff. Its location is great, a short walk away from restaurants and bars and the sea but in a quiet area of town with no noise disturbance. We loved our stay and would not hesitate to return! They even had pregnancy pillows available which I was pleased with!

The view towards Valletta from the hotel is fantastic. Highly recommend upgrafing to the luxury suites, lots of space with a large balcony

Clean rooms with modern design, comfortable bed, hot shower. Very polite staff. Good selection of cooked and continental food for breakfast. Spa pool in the basement is peaceful. Pool suitable for relaxing not laps. A dozen or so comfortable loungers. A steam room and sauna for 3/4 people. Plenty of free towels and water. Rooftop pool with similar loungers. Not sure if it’s heated but was comfortable on a warm day. We would stay again.

Staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Room was cleaned multiple times a day and even got a free upgrade. Facilities were clean and good. Plenty of restaurants nearby, bus stops right outside.

Lovely hotel , Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location , very pleased with our room ,nice touch DVD player in your room and a choice of films at reception . Breakfast excellent full English or continental self service all you can eat .First time in Malta , hope to return and will definitely stay here again.

What a great property! Everything at this property was wonderful, right from our arrival to departure. Started with the helpful doorman to the custom welcome letter and chocolates. The rooms were clean and spacious. The room was quiet and had great sea and pool views. The food, especially breakfast buffet was superlative. Staff was super friendly, professional and helpful. They even threw in free late check-out. The decor and ambience was opulent. Thanks for a great stay.

Beds excellent, as was room size, drinking water etc. restaurant food was not good value, (fresh fish is cooked better elsewhere), but rooftop sunsets and cocktails lovely. Just wish pool was open before 10.30 am- nice and warm water in April ., and open until 19.00.

Hotel Phoenicia was a lucky choice for our first visit to Malta. Ideally positioned to walk into Valetta, and easy to get to everywhere by car. Bus station would have been possible too as just beside the hotel. The Hotel oozed colonial charm especially The Club bar where the service was impeccable.
