"The property is clean and quaint. It is newly renovated and very comfortable. Two things to mention: the door to the unit is very difficult to open with the key and the stairs are difficult for older people with baggage. The lady who cleans is a gem, helping us with WIF and giving us her key. The lock tithe door needs replacing "

"The wifi did not work and there was no laundry as advertised. The room i stayed in had constant loud banging sounds from the room the table was broken and the bed frame also broken and scratched my leg causing it to bleed; but i was able to switch rooms the second day. The road one street down is under construction so no cars could get through to the actual location. The cleaning staff were very nice, about half the office staff were nice, the others were somewhat rude and annoyed to speak...

"The location and authenticity of the accommodation is amazing. It is very close to the main sites in Valletta and in a traditional lane house. It is also great value. The one thing to be aware of is that given it is an authentic house and on a main thoroughfare, it is super noisy. If you bring some ear plugs it will be fine. The apartment itself is well equipped and all you need for a great stay in Valletta. Rooms are very spacious."

"I checked in quite late due to the ferry schedule. The unit is less than 10 minutes from the ferry port. accessing the building was not difficult although as a short person I struggled to reach the keypad without having to step onto the first step at the doorway. I had a small carry on luggage and had to climb a somewhat narrow spiral staircase to the third floor with it. The keypad on the door handle was really frustrating to use because you had to turn the handle just enough to trigger it to...

"Property pictured is NOT correct. The flour was filthy and badly needed mopped. Could not get the heat to work even after following the written instruction book. Kitchen pictured under the stairs is now the holder for cleaning supplies and broom. The windows were old and didn't close properly. Would not recommend this place."

"Spacious accommodation, nicely furnished, but it was grubby in the bathroom and kitchen, with mould in shower and on the door of the bathroom and around the kitchen sink. This could have easily have been rectified by good housekeeping. The staff at VBL were very friendly and helpful."

A message sent us offered to organize the transfer to and from the property, but our message accepting that offer was ignored. That was just as well since the prices quoted were higher than what we experienced. Instead of 20 euro from the airport, the Malta Transfer van got us within a block of the property for five euro.
