Excellent stay

We really enjoyed our first stay at Vail Mountain Lodge. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We were treated to an unexpected room upgrade which made our trip to Vail extra special. The location of the hotel near the village really is perfect, with an easy walk to restaurants, shops, gondola, trails, etc. Shuttle access and free parking (summer) right outside the door. valet parking only (US18). very convenient location. 2 mins walk to centre. King suite creek side has full length windows to the corridor (a bit funny). I needed to close blind all the time and did not fill comfortable sitting in the lounge as you can be seen a bit from outside.

This place makes you feel so at home, and the lady who runs it is super friendly, and she made me an amazing special vegan porridge with fruit for my breakfast. It's so nice to be in a 'house' where you can walk around, use the kitchen, watch TV or read on the couch, the coffee was great and surroundings beautiful. The room itself was really homely too and the bed probably one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in.

Lovely hotel, great rooms, lovely staff and facilities (especially fantastic the associated Charter Sports ski hire & shop). Keep an eye on additional charges, breakfast is 47usd for two and there is a resort charge of 30usd per room per night as well as 30usd parking charge per night. No different to any other good quality hotel in the area I'm sure but worth considering along side room booking fee.

Overall we had a very enjoyable stay at The Lodge and there are many positives; I would consider returning. I realised it was not what I consider a 'full service hotel' because it does not have its own bar/restaurant and didn't offer a buffet breakfast, and nor was there a bar/lounge (other than the small lobby lounge which felt more like a waiting area). The gate from our terrace to the spa area failed on two occasions so we had to get it looked at. The location close to the gondola, the ski...

As before the Hotel provided the perfect end to my vacation. From the 'Happy hour' to the perfectly cooked Eggs Benedict on my day of departure, the staff made everyone welcome.

We loved our stay at the Alpenrock and would absolutely come to stay here again. Our room was very clean and so spacious. The aesthetic of the hotel was very stylish and it was very well maintained. I also really enjoyed the events that the hotel ran every day - during our stay, we had a day with seasonal drinks, one with a cocktail class, one with a hot chocolate bar, and one which was the managers reception with cheese and wine. Great place, right in the centre of Breckenridge which has plenty of restaurants, shops etc. Spotlessly clean with fully equipped kitchen, really comfortable bed. Kids used the sofa bed and slept well. Gorgeous view of the mountains from our room too. Definitely recommend staying here.
