This was a special treat for my 50th birthday. We were treated like royalty from the minute we walked through the door. The breakfast catered for every persons needs; there was even Champagne for a special occassion. It was faultless; I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel, which has been newly refurbished to a high specification. There is also a spa and pool.

My second time staying here - great location if you want to be in the centre along one of the canals. Interesting streets, restaurants and cafes all around. lovely comfortable rooms. A free drink from the bar is a very nice touch - the barman knows his G&Ts. I will definitely go back.

Lovely old charm hotel with excellent staff well located to public transport. The set meal in the brasserie was outstanding - prepared by the Michelin stared chef - but delivered in a relaxed manner overlooking the Amsel river. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a practical hotel to stay both for work as well to start cycling along the Rhine; Hotel Montfoort is picturesquely located in the historical Montfoort village, on walking distance of the beautiful castle. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the accommodation supplies everything you need for a pleasant stay and a good nightโs sleep. Highly recommended.

Our first stay at this hotel. Literally 2/3 minute walk from the train station. 30 minute train ride from Amsterdam Central. Hotel breakfast was plentiful and offered a good variety. Bar served tasty food/drinks. Room spacious, everywhere very clean. Staff assisted us with minor issue re room card.

We were very happy with our stay. The room is cosy, spotless and very functional. The room and check-in worked well, the staff were accommodating and friendly. On-sight parking is available and we were able to park across from our room. We visited family so didn't get the chance to use the restaurant but it looked good. Suggestions for improvement would be: TV instructions in other languages than Dutch, a small heater in the living room or the possibility of lighting the fireplace (it got chilly...

The spa was amazing spent most of our time relaxing by the pool or in the many jacuzzi. The hotel was spotless as was our room. Will definitely be back! Even embraced the naked sessions and loved it!

Like the location, it was great to be able to have a wander around the nearby park. The rooms were top notch. If I had to fault anything it would be that you had to go upstairs to the bed, looks great and feels more intimate but sucks when you wake up needing a pee!
