The Onedia Mansion House is a wonderful place to stay. It a unique experience to stay in a Museum and Historic House such as the Mansion. This is not the usual B&B or hotel. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Rooms are spacious and grounds are lovely for walking.

The room was large, comfortable and clean. This is a unique historic property and has been restored/maintained to the original condition, so don’t expect a Holiday Inn, but the rooms have all the modern conveniences. My bathroom was completely modern and most importantly, clean. I was there mostly at night and it seemed I had the whole place to myself, which was a little spooky, but there are many historical exhibits to explore that are open to explore even at night. A very unique experience and if you like history and historical properties, this is a great way to get an up close look!

This is not just a place to get some sleep-it’s a history lesson you can sleep in! If you appreciate old architecture and the story behind it-this is the place for you! All of the usual hotel needs were available -comfortable rooms, large bathroom, comfy bed (except the pull out, but I knew what to expect…). It’s part museum, hotel and apartment building all in one! Take the guided tour if you have time-very informative! You can also tour on your own. Lovely place, interesting history!
