"The hotel is in a very convenient location close to the city centre and cathedral. It is a historic building but we stayed in the fairly modern extension, which was a nice, spacious room with good facilities for tea and coffee etc. Breakfast was plentiful and you could order from a good range of cooked options including full English. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Hotel looks a bit well worn when you walk up, but inside it is nicely furnished. Our 3-bed room (25) was newly refurbished, very comfortable, quiet (but no view). Breakfast fine. Parking on site is a bit tight but it works fine. Hotel is in a great location, hotel staff excellent, very friendly. Maybe need some new carpets sometime but in the big picture, a really good stay in Lyme Regis. "

"Managed free overnight parking opposite. Worked well combined with family visit. Had a quiet en-suite room plus a bathtub. What a treat. Offerred lots choices for breakfast - standard cost for all options. All the staff I met were lovely. Very friendly and it felt more like a family business than merely ‘corporate’."
