"This place is a hidden gem! The rustic cabins are well maintained and clean. A short walk from the cabin and you arrive at the restaurant where the food is amazing and reasonably priced. The hosts were so nice and helpful, making suggestions for our hikes and other options for dinner (although we ate on site 4 times it was so good). Our kids miss Lucky and Domino and wanted to take the puppies home :-) I would definitely recommend!"

"We had the deluxe bungalow, it was very clean, spacious and private. Very safe place that is just outside the small town of Bijagua. Can get pretty windy at night which is normal in the mountains, I am a sensitive sleeper so earplugs and eye covers recommended to help you get a good nights rest. Reasonable price for a pretty cute place with friendly prompt service and nice breakfast. About 20-30min drive from Tenorio National Park to see Rio Celeste. "

"This place was a perfect little quiet getaway. The food onsite is some of the best food we had in Costa Rica. I highly recommend the pescado for lunch/dinner. We did not have 4WD but we made it just fine and left the site every day for site seeing. Don’t let the 1st downhill discourage you, once you get to the bottom of it it’s pretty easy road from there. We do love in Utah and are used to off-road driving, so if you’re not used it dirt roads it may be a little intimidating. We timed the drive...

"I am giving a 5 star to the owner for trying to help, but unfortunately only a 2 stars for the property. The bedding and bathroom were clean and good. The description and the pictures are extremely misleading. There are no 3 Queen Beds and 1 Twin bed, but 2 twin beds. There is no internet in the bedroom, and even in the: "main lodge open room” internet is only connected when the owner connects it via his phone (tethering), and I suppose that he must have a limited amount of data as the internet...

"My favourite place by far on our costa rica trip! Cabin had everything you could possibly need, we even made our own dinner one night. Owners are amazing, friendly people with so much knowledge of the area and all the animals and plants. Propertly is absolutely beautiful, with trails and a very nice garden (their super friendly dog even came with us on our walk around the property, which we loved!) Lots of birds right outside your own little balcony. And the best part.. there is a sloth! Right...

"Un sitio muy escondido, para pasar una noche. Ibamos de paso, el bungalow es normal, pero aceptable, esta en pleno bosque, el camino algo malo, pero por la lluvia, las camas grandes, el despertar con muchas aves cantando, un buen desayuno que se paga allí, y seguimos la ruta."

"Excelente lugar! Es un lugar familiar con un trato muy cercano y amable. La cabina muy bonita y cómoda, con una pequeña cocina. Da la sensación que estás dentro de la selva, ya que tienen un jardín muy bonito. Desayuno muy completo con café, fruta cortada, tostadas, huevos, plátano frito. Hecho al momento. "This place was really nice. There’s a great view that is only open to gas of the property. It is conveniently located near the volcanic park as well as tours for Tubing and swimming in the river. The host Elias was very accommodating and he was understanding of our trip, timing and tour timings and make sure we could shower after we return from the hike. He also recommended lots of activities in the area. Very nice hammock on the balcony. Best view of the countryside, this is not a hotel and...
