I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel Recently refurbished to a high standard. Staff attentive and very helpful. Particularly enjoyed the musicians in the evenings and also at breakfast. Ate in the restaurant on several occasions and food was very good. The manager Mr Deepak Devpura made a point of asking each day, how my stay was going. He and his team made my stay so enjoyable. Give this place a try, i dont think you will regret it

We arrived before 9 am after 2 long flights and were immediately given a room well before normal check in time to recupriate. The following morning we were asked if we would like to move to a better positioned room by the pool, which we did. We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this lovely heritage hotel. The staff were all very professional and the meals were all amazing. Mr Singh was very helpful and attentive, he personally gave us a walking tour of the local village, lake and showed us around hotel explaining the rich history. It was a lovely peaceful stay and we would definitely recommend it. 😁

This was my first time travelling to India, and being alone, I was excited but also initially a little apprehensive. Gem of a place, absolute must for any period history experience seekers. Beautifully appointed and maintained heritage property on the water front with unparalleled night view of the City Palacae and Taj palace island on the lake. Great food (quality, safety, hygiene, flavour and service) at in-house Ambrai restaurant. Highly recommend.

This is a hidden gem in a quaint location in the Old town of Udaipur. The manager Jassu was extremely friendly and helpful, arranging airport transfers, suggesting places to visit and eat, etc. The location is excellent, being close to the City Palace, Jagdish temple and Pichola lake. The views from the rooms are fantastic, especially if you book the Maharaja suite with its own large terrace. The amenities are modern, clean and well maintained, and we would happily return here.

This is a wonderful hotel in an excellent setting with great facilities and a very attentive team. 5 star service. The amravali suites are very nice. However the hotel does seem to attract quite annoying guests, the north Indian middle classes who are crude in their behaviours. Little gem hidden in the old Udaipur close to Jagadish temple and the traditional Hattie Pole shopping area with its narrow lane but colourful and full of life. Checkout Lalit Shree Arts (mob. 9785056192) who makes hand painted art with intricate design. Madri Haveli is located in a quiet but central street very close to all the main attractions which include the beautiful lake Pichola, the City Palace and some great shops selling footware at amazing prices plus textiles e.t.c.
