The private villas were amazing! Breakfast was delicious. Rooms clean. We could have used more towels, mainly just to have pool towels and shower towels, maybe that’s us being picky. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, they helped us book transport to our next stop. over all a great experience and would stay again.

I had the most wonderful stay at Umae Villas!!! The staff was amazing. They made me feel like family. My pool villa was clean and well appointed. Everyone from the front desk to the drivers went out of their way to make me feel special. I didn’t want to leave at the end of my 17 days.

Nice villa with your own pool and friendly staff. Breakfast isn't bad, but i prefer going to a restaurant where it isn't made for a time ut fresh after your order. If you want it perfectly quiet, it might not be the perfect place for you. Being close to the restaurants and bars is nice, but k the evening you might here the music and the bass. Later at night it's been usually quiet. If you got loud neighbours you're lost. :-) the walls are thin, but i guess it wont be much different to other places.

This place is absolutely disgusting. We were having a great time till we realized the bed was dirty. It wasn’t just dirty it was FULL OF BLOOD !! Period blood they do not clean the mattress. It was absolutely disgusting and when I told the people that worked there they did nothing to accommodate. Will never recommend this place ! Breakfast was horrible too, very plain and not tasteful.

Slitet boende, riktigt dålig frukost. Ligger bra till, tyst men ändå centralt. Poolen var fräsch. Smutsiga lakan och inga handdukar till bad/händer. Ingen handtvål fanns heller. Personalen var dock trevlig och hjälpsam. Skulle inte bo där igen.

Best place in Ubud

Amazing! The sercice was efficient and thorough. The pool are clean and fresh. The rooms are large and luxurious. I could have used another towel for the pool but thats nitpicking.....I will be back!

Absolutely beautiful location and Villas! Beautiful and very friendly staff! Stayed here for 6 nights with my wife and two kids and had a wonderful time. Close to all restaurants and very easy to drive to ricefields, swings etc... Breakfast delivered every morning at the right time and any issue we had such as needing more towels etc.. was taken care of right away it was fantastic. When checking out I left my hat on the counter and the concierge even jumped on a motor bike and raced after our taxi to give it back to me. The only thing was communication. I could not get any reply before our trip either via email or phone calls but there were no issues checking in or with the booking so everything was confirmed by Expedia anyway. I would highly recommend Umae Villas especially for familes you can't go wrong.

I booked this villa for the pool, and the pool was really lovely. Very clean and well-maintained, as well as simply beautiful. The room itself, however, was a little odd. The door handle fell off and it took 2 days to fix (luckily the lock still worked). The safe in the room also was broken. When we asked for it to be fixed, we returned to find there was now a physical key in addition to the (dead) keypad, but the door was broken so it could not physically be closed. There also weren't any pool towels--overall the room experience was very minimal. But, overall, the place was clean and spacious, and very conveniently located on the main road (but far enough back to be quiet). It was a pleasant, if basic, stay.

가성비 좋은 풀빌라

2018년 8월초에 2박 투숙했습니다. 1시에 도착했는데 2시 체크인이라고해서 점심 먹고 왔는데, 체크인시 방이 없다고 다른데로 유도하더군요. 6개월전에 예약했는데 중복이 되었다는 황당한 소리를 하면서 딜을 하더군요. 발리는 종종 이런일이 있다고 알고 있어서 우린 다른데로 못간다고 버티니까 방을 주더군요. 거짓말을 한게 아닌가 생각됩니다. 시설은 풀빌라 특성상 넓어서 좋았고 나름 깨끗하게 관리되어 있습니다. 다만 수건은 오후에 달랑 2장만 줘서 약간 불편했습니다. 위치는 좋은편입니다. 지역박물관도 가볼만하고 몽키포레스트, 코코마트도 가깝습니다. 우붓에서 스미냑지역으로 나가는건 로비에서 차를 불러줘서 저렴하게 이용했습니다.

What an amazing location, walkable distance to the Monkey Forrest, Markets, Palace and many other sights. The villa is close to many other attractions too meaning from here we could go ATV riding, rafting, temple tours etc. The room itself was incredible with our own private pool, separate relaxation area, mini bar. The included breakfast wasn't huge but was enough and there are lots of other restaurants nearby if you want a change. Only issue we had was that some of the staff really struggled with English and things like ordering a taxi for dinner took longer than expected due to communication issues. Most other hotels we've stayed in Bali, the staff had great English so it just meant we had to be a little more patient.

being a resident of Bali and a hospitality professional for many years, I found myself surprised several times a day. the team is very friendly, but rarely understands the needs of travellers. simple requirements are a challenge, tidiness received a new definition while I was there. cleaning and other requirements needed to be specified to the core, many details were overlooked. it if was a simple homestay one would understand that certain standards can't be fulfilled. being a resort of this category it was sobering at times. my 2.5 weeks passed quickly. a more mature and interested management would be able to train the team members and support the property in achieving miraculous health, safety & service standards. an eye could be turned on environmental consciousness, that is greatly lacking. really worth mentioning is the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to support. the interior is a beautiful assembly of tasteful details. overall a memorable stay.

Comfortable bed, clean modern furnishings. Good shower. Very poor breakfast, was always cold or lukewarm, also very poor choices. Staff did not understand basic English, asked for tomato omelette,got vegetables omelette. Poor courtesy car deal, ( into ubud central) only free at 10am, 12 noon or 4pm, 50000 rupiah any other time.

The villa looked good as you can see from hotel's pages. However everything was placed unreasonablly. ex) kettle placed in washroom there were no instant coffee and cups, so we needed to go out to grab them from kitcen at out side. It was very annoying. And staffs need to be trained more seriously. I had to ask them to bring bath towels and bath mat every single day, cause lazy house keeping always forgot to replace them, and the cleaner seem they just do bed making and correct rubbish bin. Our empty bottles were remained untill when we checked out. In addition, we booked a tour package wich cost 600.000Rp at hotel, but the driver didn't know where we were going, so we needed to explain everything to the driver who was not really fluent in English. Furthermore when we booked the tour we changed a destination of the tour ( because of a rainy day) then we asked them whether the price wouldl be changed or not. Then they answered it'd not because it was package. However we charged 50.000Rp more when we backed to the hotel. The receptionist explained us it's due to the long drive, although we backed earlier than the time which arranged.... it was totally ridiculous!! The most important thing..... HOT WATER is LIMMITED. We could use 5mins in a day.
