"My airport taxi was unable to park at the curb, and the Porter would not let him wait for me to get my bag. This has caused considerable inconvenience. With the exception of J, the concierge, no one in the hotel was able to provide even a few minutes charge for my phone. The front desk was helpful when I could not find my glasses. The area is incredibly loud, the view poor, but the Bourbon Restaurant is nice. There is a lot of skunkweed smell surrounding the exterior perimeter of the hotel so keep that in mind. I would avoid staying here again and regrettably cannot recommend even though the staff is very friendly and tries to help."

"The room wasn’t tidy at all. I sheets had holes. The property manager “ Monique” sent housekeeping up immediately.After a late night on Bourbon Street we came to the room and I turned on the shower but unfortunately there wasn’t any hot water. We were moved to a different room which was a suite the best room in the hotel lol I think!! Thanks again to the manager she handled it quickly.The halls and walls was dirty. I can definitely see this hotel being a 2 star by next year if better upkeep isn’t made and a new housekeeping staff. Unfortunately I will not be staying here again."

"This hotel was very clean, had comfortable beds, and the staff was great. What we were surprised about was the $48 a day for valet parking. We were upset about the cost and that that was the only option for our car to be at the hotel. The breakfast was fantastic also. Just make sure you ask about parking if you are looking to stay in the French Quarter. "

"The room was clean, slightly outdated, but comfortable. The pool is heated and a decent size, there are some pebbles on the floor of the pool, could use resurfacing, not terrible though. There is an option for a time share presentation for those who are interested although the concierge was not pushy. The hotel is connected to Mr. Eds restaurant, tried several dishes, most was mid but they serve large portions. My room had a view facing Canal and the water, very nice with the curtains open at night. The bell staff was super helpful with luggage coming and going. There are some daily fees and a daily parking fee to be aware of, so take extra funds for that. Overall, the stay was good, and the area is close to where you want to be but not directly in the middle of the action. I would stay again."
