Qambathi was absolutely stunning. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff who made sure our stay was all we expected and more. Nadia and Stephen are lovely hosts who really went out of their way to accommodate us with our pets. The rooms were clean and comfortable with lovely garden views. Forest walks and mountain views near by and the food was delicious too. We would definitely return to Qambathi again.

This place is a small piece of heaven! Great service from all staff right from the very beginning. Before arrival - Comms were timely and accurate and helpful. The meals provided were great (especially the Oxtail stew! 😋) and delivered to your individual lodge. The situation of the lodge is beautiful - wherever you look the scenery transfixes you. The whole place is beautiful, the view of the mountains from the veranda is amazing. The food was stunning and staff were excellent.

Although it was very cold the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and provided a heater A bit disappointing was the restaurant was closed they required 24 hrs notice There was a excellent pub just 5 minute drive away The breakfast was very good again excellent staff provided a full English We had a lovely massage followed by a drink in front of a blazing fire and a very pleasant dinner

This is not a complaint but rather a critique to help elevate the guest experience. The gym was small and consequently got very hot very quickly. Investment in an air con unit or at the very least 2-3 good quality fans would help make the training environment more pleasant - this should not detract from the rest of the property. Absolutely perfect.

Very pleasant hotel with an old world feel but some areas could do with updating. A shower in a bathtub where one has to climb in and out of the bath to shower is rather outdated and potentially dangerous as no anti slip mat was provided. The bar fridge was very welcome. Lovely roses in the room were a nice touch. Staff were welcoming and helpful especially the young man on duty at breakfast time.

Our whole experience was a fantastic one - service, food, drinks, facilities and amazing scenery!

Room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Restaurant food is very good. We had breakfast (included) and dinner (E295pp for 3 course set menu). The grounds are beautiful with several cows roaming around. The drive up to reception is quite long (felt like about 2-3km) but don’t worry, you’re on the right track! You’ll meet several cows on that road too so don’t go too fast! Overall an idyllic setting.

We had a really pleasant stay here. The staff were very friend, beautiful views and lots of activities if you have kids. Would recommend
