Even when we heard the generator running, will still didn’t have lights, kettle, etc. We still had lovely hot water, so it was all a bit strange. Thank goodness for a lovely fire and early nights."

The place was very accommodating by having a very early breakfast and supplied a place we could park our bikes indoors (there where other cyclists also staying there as well). Staff are friendly and everything went to plan."

"The rooms themselves were great and the breakfast was delicious. However, there is a shared kitchen which is available to prepare any other meals…it is not in good condition at all and needs some serious TLC if the space is to be offered for guest use. For example the oven is FILTHY, the sink is perpetually full of used, dirty dishes and cutlery/crockery/glasses/cookware all need to be upgraded/replaced. I think the shared space is a great idea, but it has to be drastically improved to reflect...
