Despite having a fully paid confirmed booking with Expedia for this hotel when we arrived to check in we were told that they did not have a room for us. The manager was very rude and unhelpful and did not care that we had no where to stay. She basically said it was our fault for booking with Expedia and that they had previously turned away 5 bookings from Expedia. Expedia finally found us alternative accommodation and we were glad that we did not stay at the Peniarth Arms as they had no policy for social distancing during the current pandemic with tables jammed in next to each other and no distance being kept between customers and staff, I have never been treated so badly by a manager of a hospitality business and Sue should consider an alternative career as she clearly can not run an accommodation establishment.
