"Great for a quick trip from London to Hartlepool.
Bed was comfy.
Loo was a little noisy but l sleep with ear buds and eye patch.
Green safety light for others could be an issue above the door but not for myself.
Ill stay again

"The hotel was in the centre of the lovely little town of Sedgefield, which had lots of eating and drinking options. We booked because we were going to the nearby Sedgefield races. "

"We came from Newcastle and stayed the night. We wanted to try the monster sharer and it did not dissapoint. The food was cooked to perfection and very tasty and the waiting team were superb, our drinks were always topped up and they were always making sure we were ok. The restaurant was super busy and there was not one time i didnt see a queue out of the door. I was a bit apprehensive when i saw how busy it was but the whole team had it running like clockwork. The rooms are not expensive at all and would of cost more in taxis so we decided to stay the night. A few minor flaws.. there is no bar area to just have drinks, we like to relax and unwind before dining but giving how popular the food is here they need all the tables they can get, 2 the hotel stands alone and nothing else near by so driving is essential. 3 Just 1 pillow each which were very flat so we both woke up with stiff necks however like i said minor issues. Would definelty come back and stay. "
"We had a lovely stay. Unfortunately our TV did not work but the reception staff member upgraded us to a suite and we had a lovely stay . The staff were very lovely at the bar and reception and worked really hard . Thank you . You were appreciated by us. "
"We recently stayed at The Whitehouse Hotel in Peterlee as a group of five, and it was an absolute delight. The rooms were spotless, tastefully decorated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—just what we needed for a relaxing stay.
Although we hadn’t pre-booked breakfast for all five of us the night before, the staff were more than happy to accommodate us on the day without any fuss, which we really appreciated. That kind of flexibility and friendliness made a big difference.
We didn’t use the bar, so can’t comment on that, but everything else about our stay was smooth and enjoyable. This place is a real gem of a find—highly recommended!"
