Not The Meierhof
Hotel Meierhof existed for more than twenty years, but, this NOT Meierhof anymore. There is a big change here. There’s no restaurant anymore, there’s no reception desk, front cafe and no friendly people anymore. Only self check in and pure self serving buffet breakfast. It is leased to someone else, who doesn’t see a relevant business here.

Liechtenstein is so beatifiul that you don’t need much more. Check-in was quick, no problems at all with it. Room was spacious and clean but definitely we slept in the worse bed in our whole life. Pillows also very uncomfortable :( view from the balcony was amazing! Probably would be better if we could have the kettle in the room, but wasn’t far to the shared breakfast area and we could use a coffee machine for the hot water. Breakfast was nothing special, but there are some options to chose from (bread was amazing!!). We didn’t have any problems with the hotel - we just don’t recommend for people who want to sleep well (we could also hear other guests speaking behind the wall/next to a busy road which was also loud)

Stay was good. Only negative was noise of street traffic. I was surprised there was a small but cold refrigerator in room. Bravo! Very good breakfast. Check in was not so difficult.

terrible experience
self check in is awful. esp after a few hours my room card stops working and there is no one to help me getting into the room! Room is extremely tiny. no fan no A/C and in the middle of heatwave. wouldn't stay there again.

overlooking triesen ,within 30mins sargans station
self check in and self check out 24/7 . but if something cook up when their automated machine hangs or the card terminal cannot accept foreign card by signature need pin . becare when u booked if you dont have card pin . it hard to pay . it on the bus terminal route 21 , and breadfast is normal of europe way crossiant / bread loaf / seasoned meat ham/ salami cereals . room is gd with spacious and cottage style basic furnishing . value for money _ jus it on the upslop it hard for those bring big luggage by foot thru the steep road and pavement . near to guntenberg and malbun resort destination ,

Nice stay in Liechtenstein
Easy check in using self service machine. Clean & comfortable room, 2 singles pushed together rather than a double though which we would have preferred. The breakfast had a great selection, it was continental style with bacon and eggs. I enjoyed boiling my egg & having it with un-toasted soldiers (I didn't see a toaster). The only improve I'd recommend would be to put a kettle & tea & coffee in the rooms. There was coffee available in reception but this was a few minutes walk from the room.

The view was spectacular!!! The breakfast was delicious. There are convenience factors of a 24 hour check in but it was a little confusing at first; our credit card didn’t work well on the machine so we had to call the 24 hour number to get help. The room was clean. Overall the hotel had a very non touristy and relaxing, quaint. The only downside was no AC in the room which wouldn’t be terrible since you can easily open the windows but the noise from the road wasn’t helpful for quiet sleeping. Overall though this hotel was great and absolutely a great experience!!!
