"Everyone and everything was completely satisfying"

"Where do I start…maybe the bathroom sink that wouldn’t drain that I had to try plunging by had to be able to use the sink in the morning. Temperature in the room dipped to 63 at night because I couldn’t stand the burnt smell coming from the heating system. I’ve been a heating contractor for over 30 years and I can tell you that is from a lack of cleaning the system and heating elements. And if it smelled that bad in April, at the end of the heating season, then it hasn’t been cleaned in years. The rooms are very noise. We stayed on the first floor in Bldg 6 - Bldgs 4 & 5 would be the same. Sorry, but this is just not up to the quality of a 4 star hotel. We stayed at their sister hotel, The Eldorado, in Santa Fe two nights before and were equally disappointed there. I would recommend somewhere else. Sorry."

"On checking in, tI thought I had hit a home run. Until I got into the room. Smallest room I’ve had ever. The rooms are old and sad. Half the plugs near the bed for charging electronics didn’t work. The sink drain was broken. The room was on one of the courtyards making it the most pet friendly place I stayed in a 2 week trip. The ice machine was in a secure area outside the reception to their restaurant, which was which was locked except 3-9 pm when the restaurant was open. Inconvenient. The pet area was cleaner than the room. I wanted to tell the staff, but when I went to check out, the receptionist was too busy talking on the phone. There was one person ahead of me, but the receptionist kept answering the phone. Looked like she was the only staff at the desk, and was never trained to take care of the customers waiting in front of her. Her supervisor should teach her to answer the phone”Thank you for calling the Sagebrush Inn, would you please hold. After waiting 5 minutes, I dropped the keys on the desk and left. If she didn’t understand customer service why should I care. Answering the phone while people are waiting is the same as having 3 people in line and serving the last person first"
