Rooms are not small, and it's not made out of cardboard like some budget French hotels. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms clean. But toilets and showers are shared... and the toilet closest to my room was blocked and disgusting. Other, not far away were fine."

"Yes, I booked an inexpensive (cheap) room, so I was not expecting a palace, and a friend who stayed at a different location said it was fine. Nothing could have prepared me for the sight of the filthy (filthy!) carpet. Or the smell, like someone had spent a week boiling corn in the room."
