"This is a fantastic hotel to stay in. The owners Jane and John go above and beyond to make your station enjoyable. The decor is beautiful and very in keeping with the age of the hotel. Abbey Sands Hotel

3.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (819)
"The hotel had just been open a few days after being closed for 8 months. The building is shabby & our room was worse. There were stains on the carpet & upholstery. The bathroom was nice as it looked as if it had been upgraded recently. There was no ac & we could only open the window a few inches. We had a very small fan, inadequate. The sun shone on our window most of the day. It was hot!"
