"We enjoyed our stay on the beautiful grounds of the McKinley Wilderness Princess Lodge. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The lodge building and fire pit area were both warm and welcoming. We ate in both restaurants, and while the meals were good to very good, they weren't top quality. Overall it was a great experience!"
"This lodge unit is unique, clean, and spacious unit. Even though I only stayed for one night, I felt comfortable and truly enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended."
"The description says the hotel offers live entertainment and bar but fails to say that said bar and live bands are directly below the rooms. I got in around 11pm and staff was super friendly and nice. We had to pick up our keys from the bartender and carry all our luggage while maneuvering through patrons of the bar listening to a live band. It was a short distance but there was also no elevator so you would have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs to get to the rooms. The rooms were clean and the shared bathrooms were clean. The walls are paper thin. The band was playing till well after 1AM and even though the staff were talking in normal voices after closing you could still hear them. So needless to say I didn’t sleep well. Beds were not comfortable and pillows offered no support. around 4:30 AM there were guests who got up to shower and start their day which again you could hear everything. Doors closing, footsteps, luggage rolling on the floor, and again everything happening below you. Definitely not a place for any kind of rest and would definitely not be recommending to anyone. I wish I didn’t have to leave such a bad review because the staff was nice and happy go-lucky but man was my sleep quality horrible so much so it affected my time in Denali the following day."
"The location was wonderful and this was our favorite lodging on our trip. We had some moose and a fox walk right past the porch and amazing views of the water. It was so peaceful. The check-in couldn't have been easier and very friendly staff. If we make it back to Alaska we will definitely stay here again!"
