"I stayed at this hotel for four nights. I ended up booking here last minute because my original hotel was canceled due to the holiday, so I didn’t have many options. One advantage is the location—it’s only about five minutes from the airport, which was very convenient. From the outside, the hotel looks very nice,clean, modern, and quite fancy. However, the experience inside the room was disappointing. As soon as we walked in, there was a strong unpleasant smell, similar to sewage. The room also did not feel clean and seemed poorly maintained. Another issue was the air conditioning some rooms had working AC while others did not, which made the stay uncomfortable. On the positive side, the room was spacious enough to accommodate four people comfortably. The staff were not very friendly or welcoming. They would help if asked but overall didn’t seem approachable or attentive. Overall, while the exterior and location are appealing, the room conditions and service did not meet expectations. I would not choose to stay here again."

"My family and I stayed in the family suite with bunk beds. Positives: resort had several restaurants and the service was excellent. During the day, the pool was almost empty. Lots of stuff to do at the resort; from bird watching to having a movie played for the kids. Breakfast bar was great and the service was even better. They were always kind and welcoming to us and our kids. Every night at turn down service the kids were given cookies. Cons: Food missed the mark (at every restaurant); always a 6 out of 10. We even went to the Italian restaurant at Banyan Tree, and the menu was not very Italian. Poolside beverages and food were hard to come by. Can no longer apply your accord membership to the resort as they just discontinued their partnership - FYI. Pools are starting to really deteriorate; if we were to go back, I would have my kids wear pool shoes. The floor of our room always left black stuff in your feet, regardless of how often people came in to clean. We enjoyed our stay, but not worth the money. Especially for the price of the food."
