"Stayed, two adults, two kids. Room was slightly updated from the pictures- two beds vs the picture showed bunk beds. Overall nice, black out curtains, room enough for all our bags. Breakfast included was tasty and perfect. Would def stay again. "
"Great location for a stopover on the Great North Trail. However there are no amenities in Forsinard except the local tea shop which closes at 4pm. Because the hotel is completely unmanned prior planning is essential if you don't have transport or have prepared beforehand. "

Located at the top of Scotland, Thurso was the largest town which we visited. The choice of shops was a bit limited, but this seems common in many places today. Locally, the roads were good.

Our room was pleasant, on the ground floor, very clean with a comfortable bed.
We ate in for dinner which was very good, good choice, also choice for vegetarians, and the portions were very good.
Breakfast was a simple but good buffet.
Very happy with our stay. "
