We only stayed one night but all was very satisfactory. Great food, in particular, and a very helpful and hospitable staff team.

The building is beautiful with spacious stairway and rooms. However it is under renovation and the whole place was surrounded by scaffolding. I felt I overpaid for this property.

Highly Recommend
A truly lovely stay. The owner rang up to check on our journey, and offered to keep the kitchen open longer for us. The place is warm, cosy, and lovely to be in. The food was brilliant, proper restaurant quality stuff (perhaps better). Would highly recommend to travellers heading north or south through Thurso.

We enjoyed our stay here, a very warm welcome at this family run guest house. We enjoyed our evening meal and they couldn't do enough to ensure that we enjoyed our stay, this was the first time I tried haggis and it was delicious - fell in love with their dog Sally :)

The hosts give you a warm welcome and go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. Accommodation is very comfortable, well located, and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommended to anyone visiting Thurso.

Malgré un staff très sympa et un délicieux dîner la chambre est minuscule la douche est sale pas de pression ni d’eau chaude ! Il faudrait juste baisser les prix pour que ce soit plus fair !

Abgesehen vom entgegenkommenden Inhaber und der angenehmen Lage, kann man keine guten Worte finden: - Heizung nicht regelbar und undicht - Matratze uralt und durchgelegen - Fenster waren nicht zu öffnen und teilweise defekt - Zimmer nicht sauber - Teppich, Badezimmer, Fenster, Kopfteil des Bettes - Kühlschrank innen verschimmelt - Riesiger defekter Spiegelschrank - Dreckige Decke im Schrank - überteuertes einfaches Frühstück in Abstellraum-Athmosphäre

Nice stay
The hotel didn't have an outside sign but plenty of parking. The pub / restaurant downstairs was good quality food very well cooked and good drinks. Outside pub hours you need to phone the owner to check in. Very nice area wanderful walk on the river.the room was large and comfy.
