One night stay to experience the Periyar reserve close by. Our room was enormous and located near the very back of the property. Sadly building works are directly next to the property so we heard angle grinding. Mgr tried to stop them but only the rain did. Staff amazing. Food delicious. Great cocktails and beers. Hotel staff was helpful, accommodating and show their personal interest for any of your needs. The surrounding view of the hotel is just awesome. Perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy the greenery around you.

We stayed two night in this hotel and were greeted by a very friendly and professional staff. They gave us a very personal experience, took us out trekking. I would recommend this to anyone that want's a great experience with excellent food and very nice venue. Very clean and well maintained hotel.

This was a great stay - everything is top notch - lovely room, great food, friendly staff, good service etc. The grounds around the hotel are especially nice. The pool - and views from it - are especially impressive!

Location is very central. Rooms are nice and clean. The staff will go above and beyond to help. My dad had dietary requirements and the chef Tom made him his own meal.

The hotel has charged extra charges for the gala dinner where it was said that its included in the charges and took extra money from us

Stayed here 3 nights. It's a small family run establishment. Good location close to the entrance to the reserve and 15 mins walk from the reserve ticket office and pick-up point for the reserve trips. Spacious, room with balcony overlooking fields where mongooses and monkeys were playing, and the forest. It was really a nice hotel very close to the city center, periyar wildlife sanctuary and lake..... and the staff was very helpful for the information which i needed they really helped me with that..... lot of places to visit there. So plan accordingly..... 2 nights is just not enough..... Places to visit, Parunthum para, ramakalmedu, idukki dam etc etc....

We only stayed here for 1 day but the range of food at breakfast was good, hotel and facilities were clean and the hotel staff were very accommodating. They even organised an earlier breakfast as we needed to check out early to travel the following day which was really appreciated.

Lovely hotel with incredible views - make sure you get a jungle view room! Excellent service from the friendly staff and the bedrooms were beautiful. Some problems with noise from other guests outside the bedroom but otherwise a perfect stay

Excellent owners and staff. They arranged all the sight seeing for us. They go out of their way to help you. The jungle safari was organized in nearby Tamilnadu even though there was a local issue at Kerala. The shop Hilltop in Kumily, suggested by fathima for local shopping was very reasonable for the prices of spices and nuts. Overall very good experience.
