One night stay to experience the Periyar reserve close by. Our room was enormous and located near the very back of the property. Sadly building works are directly next to the property so we heard angle grinding. Mgr tried to stop them but only the rain did. Staff amazing. Food delicious. Great cocktails and beers. This is a great hotel with excellent staff. The cottages were excellent, spacious, well spread out and located in a beautifully manicured gardens amidst dense forest. Stayed here 3 nights. It's a small family run establishment. Good location close to the entrance to the reserve and 15 mins walk from the reserve ticket office and pick-up point for the reserve trips.
