"I wish I could give 10 stars for the staff at the hotel and accompanying restaurant. I felt so welcome and they really made me feel better when I was bummed about being alone on my Birthday (play violins here). But seriously, Kirsty is an angel on earth and the staff at the restaurant were so friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean, and safe. The bed was super comfortable. While the location is a little isolated, the taxi service is very reliable. There’s a bus stop about a 10 min walk away. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"Based on stay in Woodland Pod, not the main hotel. Staff - 10/10 Facilities - 7/10 (shower lukewarm and WiFi issues with TV) Cleanliness - 8/10 Food - 9/10 Sleep - 7/10 Would stay again as have been before, but would probably stay in main hotel next time. "

"Friendly staff, very helpful receptionist, nice breakfast: hot and fresh. The room is a bit small which is fine but the carpet was too old and looks dirty. The bed was comfortable. We requested a cot for our 2 yrs old son, it was very small. I think it would suit <1yr old baby. In the end i would thank the breakfast staff, they were very helpful and accomdate our request for vegan susage and hashbrown. "

"The hotel is in an ideal location to walk to the nearby Kelpies or Falkirk football club. Staff are excellent all very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is about the shower the water pressure was pathetic and one night there was no hot water. Food at Cooks was excellent and definitely worth going back for that alone."

"Each room is individually appointed giving them unique feels like one would find as a guest in a home. En suite bathrooms were updated and very clean. It was a thrill to stay in an historic home I just wish there had been more information available about its history. "
