"We were enroute to Yorkshire from Somerset with a planned trip to Hardwick Hall necessitating an overnight stop. This hotel close to junction 29 of the M1 was ideal for our needs. The staff were all charming and very helpful and the food was excellent. We did have a minor problem with our room but without asking we were immediately upgraded to a superior room. We would recommend this hotel to all travellers."

I was moved to a smaller room that did not match what I paid for three people, and my children had to find accommodation elsewhere. The place was not very clean and had an unpleasant smell. The kitchen was dirty. I did not even wait for breakfast. I chcked out very early in the morning."
