Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too.
Had a one night stay here and now looking for a reason to come back! Great staff, stunning location and and the room and food were excellent. In particular the attention to detail in the room with the décor and facilities was much above what we expected from this price point. Liked it so much we stayed for Sunday lunch!
Friendly greeting on arrival by the team. Our meal was expensive but perfectly cooked. Room well equipped- particularly liked the Dyson fan. Nice touches like complimentary drinks, bathrobes and biscuits in the room. Fresh milk in fridge. Bed was a little firm for me, excellent location on our route down to the West Country,
Pedro and the staff at this lovely Inn made our stay very welcoming!
Nothing was too much trouble and they looked after our little dog like their own too!
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Attentive, friendly staff, beautiful bedrooms, fabulous food and service. Will definitely be back when working in the area.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
I would have liked a comfortable chair in the room, as I had to sit on the floor to stop my dog getting up on the bed with me. Very well thought out amenities for dogs.
A liitle known gem in the Cotswolds between Tewkesbury and Evesham. I rate this a the best value hotel I stay in. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, and there are additional small gestures with the bathrobes and quality hand sanitiser, fresh biscuits etc that make every stay a bit special. The staff are polite and extremely helpful, and they genuinely care about what they are delivering here. Outstanding.
First time staying since the refit and have to say they have done a really nice job. From the corridor to the charming rooms it’s all so very nice. There is a really homely feel with lovely touches like plants in the rooms. Highly recommend
We have stayed here before, but not since covid lockdowns. I believe that different brewery has taken ownership and it has received an excellent makeover.
On-line check-in and check-out worked seamlessly and the welcome that we received from all staff was excellent, everyone was friendly. Our room, upstairs in the old pub building, rather than in the annex, was excellent with all the facilities we required. A very comfortable bed led to a good night's sleep. Our only slight problem was that water pressure was very low.
Breakfast was superb.
We will certainly return to the Beckford Inn when we next require accommodation in the Tewkesbury area.
We had a great stay and were very impressed with the room especially the size of it, the decor and customer service levels. The food was lovely and we will definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Very happy and can't express how happy we were with everything.
Stayed for 2 nights with our baby for a wedding nearby. Very helpfully switched our room for a better layout to accommodate the travel cot. Other family were also staying and they were great at accommodating all 15 of us for meals.
Breakfast was delicious and lots of it. Our evening meal was also lovely.
Room was very clean, good facilities and plenty of space for all our baby related paraphernalia.
Only minor criticism was the low pressure made showering a slow process but was hot.
Wonderful little find, stayed here for more one night for a nearby wedding. Lovely room and food made with local ingredients. Room was very spacious, comfortable and clean, with a wide range of complimentary drinks, homemade shortbread etc. Bathroom also very nice with modern shower enclosure. A few fixtures in need of tightening up (eg toilet roll holder) but very minor problems. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. Picture of lunch purchased separately from room rate, but it was delicious!
Stayed in superior double in separate building. The room was large and very very nice. Lovely little touches like filter coffee and a complimentary drink each from the mini bar. Food was excellent as was the service. Not cheap though. It was a very enjoyable stay which felt special. Only issue was that we were on the ground floor and heard the floor creak with every movement in the room above (and they moved constantly). A real design floor for the new building. Suggest don’t have a ground floor room.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Overnight stay
Lovely staff, but room was very dusty, toilet seat not fitted properly slid of as soon as you sat on it
Food a good selection a tad expensive, nice breakfast
Thumbs up for the staff who were polite, friendly and professional. Accommodation was very clean and tidy and breakfast was very satisfactory, along with the evening meals. Would highly recommend.
