"Excellent location and very well appointed apartment. Everything was good quality and seemed to be new. We found everything we needed was provided and lots of additional nice touches. However, it was not the easiest place to find - a small doorway on a busy street at the front and nothing on the rear of the property to indicate you had found the correct property. What3words took us to Wallsfield Lane and told us to turn right. It is actually second right which you can't see till you think you...

"We had a lovely stay at the Cosy Mews in Tenby. It was so central to the restaurants, shops and beaches. We had our dog with us and it rained one day none stop. It was great to be able to retreat to a comfy, cosy refuge! Parking was no issue as we put our car in the multi story at Sinsburgs which was super cheap for a day and 5 mins away. We also did a lovely day trip to Dobbyโ€™s grave at Freshwater West beach and onto St Davidโ€™s. Such a lovely break with great WiFi for the teenager. Would...

Tenby Beach

9.6/10 (436 reviews)
Visitors to Wales are often staggered by quite how picturesque it can be here and nowhere more so than at Tenby, probably the most iconic seaside town in the country. Tenby Beach is the generic name given to not one but four of its beaches, all of which offer sheltered, deep blue water and outstanding views.

Carew Castle

9.0/10 (40 reviews)
Regarded as one of the most impressive castles in Wales, visitors to Carew Castle can trace the structureโ€™s history from Norman fortifications to when it became an Elizabethan country home owned by Sir John Perrot, possibly an illegitimate son of Henry VIII, before its eventual abandonment in the 17th Century. Several notable features have resulted, including earthworks created by Royalist defenders during the Civil War and window frames dating to Tudor times that were made of imported Cotswold stone that stands out against the local limestone used for the rest of the building.

Manorbier Castle

8.8/10 (75 reviews)
One of the foremost charms of the Pembrokeshire Coast, Manorbier Castle makes for a fantastic day out, especially for families and anyone with a passion for Welsh history. This well-preserved Norman Castle is to be found not far from the pretty seaside town of Tenby. With medieval frescoes visible in the old chapel and a fine gatehouse with intact defensive facilities, despite the inevitable decay caused by the passage of time, this remains a majestic and atmospheric structure.

"Right by the beach, parking behind building , pay and display, no parking for guesthouse. Property was clean, family owned and run, no staff around to talk to as much but one welcomed me in and bell to ring on the ground floor landing when you need something. Overall a budget friendly place nothing too exciting aside the above. A 6.8 rating for me"

10/10 Excellent
"A better place to be than some *** hotels we've stayed at. Our room, though small, was clean with modern fittings similar to a Premium Inn. The bath/shower was better. At last a recess in the shower wall! Somewhere to put the gel and shampoo. The small daily bottles of carbonated water was a nice touch. Breakfast was better than a Premier Inn. Firstly it was included in the room price. Secondly more choices and the offer of a breakfast bucks fizz! All in all I recommend this as a great place to stay."

"The host Marion was delightful to deal with. Prior to arrival I phoned to query why I had been sent a bill for an additional charge over and above what I had already paid. Marion explained it was because Expedia keep making errors with the rate and I needed to pay more, however after a bit more discussion Marion was quick to say she would honour the price I had paid on Expedia . When I saw the room I can see why it should have cost more . It was spotless and comfortable which made me more than happy to follow the instructions about taking shoes off before walking on the new carpet and being carful about getting water on the bathroom floor. This hotel is a dog lovers paradise. Marion clearly loves dogs , and kindly made sure her dogs didnโ€™t attack ours"
