I do not think this hotel is worth the price. The rooms are run down and cleanliness could be improved. There was hair in the bathroom sink and shower. Fairmont Chateau Laurier
A highly recommend if able to stop in for a stay at least once. Short walk to dozens of experiences. Parliament Hill, East Block, multiple bus tours, parliamentary offices, art galleries, and the temporary senate to name a few.

Lord Elgin Hotel
Put us in a. Room right beside a room under renovations, how thought of the hotel. If it wasn’t the on going construction it was the street noise. Terrible place, looks like a strip club and/ or casino. Staff unhelpful and rude
