"What a beautiful hotel. Fabulous room. Fabulous view. Fantastic massage from Alona. Delicious breakfasts. Amazing pool overlooking the beach. Would absolutely come back. My only comment is that it has gotten quite expensive. :("

"This property is underrated. It has an excellent location, the rooms are very comfortable, and it is a fraction of the price of other hotels nearby. It's an excellent value."

"The Jewel is a true boutique hotel - great location, helpful staff, spotless rooms and a relaxing rooftop patio. The breakfast is fresh and tasty - though with a relatively small number of rooms, not the overly large quantities at larger hotels. The hotel was recently redone within the last five years I think and is being extremely well maintained. It is my to spot in Tel Aviv for the last three years and highly reccomend it."

"Unfortunately, the hotel handled both check-in and additional charges poorly. Check-in was slow and inefficient, and they were unable to process arriving guests in a timely way.
More concerningly, they claimed certain extra tax charges were required by government law, yet applied the passport checks and charges inconsistently, requesting passports for all guests in only selected rooms while apparently treating comparable rooms differently.
If a tax is legally required, it should be applied...

Excellent hotel, staff really help when they can. I felt this hotel was brilliantly placed, there are close shops, restaurants etc.
It's a 10-15 minute walk to the beach.
As far as accommodation in Tel Aviv goes I consider it excellent value. The breakfast is typical Israeli, they offer free coffee/snacks throughout the day and free wine too. Roof terrace is pretty empty most days which is great to catch the sun but when you don't want to go to the busy beach. There were a few problems but...

Hotel is an amazing restoration of a 175 year old American hotel in Tel Aviv. Absolutely gorgeous down to the last detail. Staff is gracious and friendly-we were there New Year’s Eve and were welcomed by events manager Karen to the NYE party thrown by the hotel. Breakfast was a fabulous spread of Middle Eastern delicacies and there is also a menu with beautiful egg dishes and muesli etc. We loved the Ottoman influenced decor in our room and elegant marble bathroom with luxurious touches such as...

A small friendly hotel, with staff who are really helpful. My suite was very large with all the facilities needed. The rooms are immaculately clean and modern. This hotel is 3 start as it does not have facilities such as a pool, bar, gym etc, but the rooms are on par with a 4 star hotel.
Very close to the main street of Dizengoff street where you will find plenty of bars and restaurants, although the hotel itself is down a side street which is nice and quiet. Close to all major attractions...

I booked through Expedia but the hotel emailed me direct to offer any assistance. I travel a lot on business and I can say that is extremely rare. Through this discussion I was able to arrange an early check-in, which considering I landed 5am in TelAviv was very welcome. I was also offered a dedicated parking spot in the private multi-storey over the road, which was really useful and avoided the hassle of trying to find an on-street parking spot.

We have had 6 amazing days in Israel. The Rothschild 96 Hotel was recommended by a friend and it surpassed our expectations in every way. The staff in this hotel were helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make our stay a wonderful experience. The breakfast included in our room rate was first class with so many fabulous options on their menu. It was my birthday and they welcomed us with a card and gift for the occasion. On our next visit we will stay with them again. The bistro hotel is...

Brilliant little place with a great business lounge. Within a short taxi ride to everything in Tel Aviv. Good sized room (had a club room), definitely worth the upgrade; wine, soft drinks, snacks and more in the lounge!

Comfortable hotel in quiet location. I was in a junior room. Perfect for one person but definitely would be too small for two. Very clean - housekeeping was excellent.

An excellent stay here. The staff were very helpful. They even had free beach towel hire. The rooms are a little small but if you don't mind that then choose this hotel. The public beach is only a short walk just past the US Embassy.

I really liked the staff who were very friendly and helpful. The guy who cleaned the room was especially friendly and made me feel valued as a guest. This was my first time staying at this hotel but having stayed in about fifteen hotels in Tel Aviv over the years, I’m sure I will return to Jacob Samuel in the future. One small thing: hair conditioner and body lotion would have been appreciated.
