Great restaurant

Checked in mid evening and was cold outside. Was informed at check in that the team had been to my room and closed the curtains and put the heating on so it was not cold. Wow now that’s some check in service

A warm welcome on our first visit to this new hotel, right in the centre of Middlesbrough, nearly opposite the town hall. Clean, fresh rooms and a comfortable bed - although ours was only a standard double, rather than king size. Good selection at breakfast.

We stayed here to watch the Tour de Yorkshire the hotel staff were lovely, breakfast cooked to order alongside the buffet. The only downside was the bed was smaller than we are used to so sleep was difficult. (Room19) maybe ask for a larger bed if you are a couple! However we had a fabulous break.

Easy to find from main roads. After driving for 4 hours through the rain I was pleased to arrive at my destination. The hotel appeared a bright, happy star on the rainy horizon. The reception area welcomed me with it's serene, peacefulness. Staff only too happy to come to my help late on a Sunday evening. My room was large, cleanly furnished with a vast bathroom that I could have had a party in. The room was comfortable and perfect for catching up on some late night desk work. I slept well...

Stayed two nights will definitely be staying again. The staff are very friendly and cannot do enough to ensure that you enjoy your stay.

This was a one-night stay to watch an evening football match. The hotel was reasonably easy to find; it has a huge, free car park; the staff are friendly and helpful; the room was fine, although the building is not modern - it is a busy pub, but not too noisy. The wifi and breakfast were fine and the hotel is about 20 minutes walk to the town centre, and 30 minutes to the football ground.

Nice room and straightforward checking in. Good value if you are on a budget. Small bedroom and bathroom but good well equipped shared kitchen with all facilities including washing machine with line and pegs outside if needed.

The house has everything you could need for your stay. It’s so nicely presented and in a village with 3 pubs/restaurants to choose from. There’s plenty of walks in the area which some fantastic views.

The hotel is located very close to the A19 near to Yarm, however it is located in the beautiful and tranquil grounds which enjoy stunning views of the Cleveland Hills with only a very low level of noise drifting up from the A19. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We were made to feel both very welcome and comfortable with nothing being a problem. An excellent short stay in a well-maintained property. Parking whilst off-site was easy to find. The property is very close to shops and amenities.
