"The heated towel rail in bathroom didnt work, only had 1x knife and fork so had to ask reception for another set. Frypan was old and warped so made it hard to cook anything."

"Would definitely stay here again but cirst off theres no microwave and thats fine honestly. Wasnt a huge hassle tbh but could be something that would turn people off. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. Main issues were definitely just the amenities, the fridge freezer was a little broken so it slushied all our drinks since the cold leaked from it. Shower was also a little wonky, despite wanting warm water, it would go very cold to very hot for a second which can be unpleasant at times. However its a comfy stay, lots of parking and room, convenient location to explore the central town."

"This was one of our favorite stays in New Zealand. The lake view is so beautiful and the grounds were absolutely stunning in March with cherry trees blooming. We appreciated how close we were to the town center and enjoyed eating at the Ranch and watching the movie at the Black Dog. We had an overnight cruise planned to Doubtful Sound so at the staff's suggestion we drove to Milford sound to take in the views. That was a remarkable day that we would have missed out on otherwise. We were able to wash our clothes at their laundry facility for free and drying was a nominal charge. We had a very restful stay and highly recommend this location for your visit to Te Anau."

"Excellent property. Clean room, comfy bed, parking on site. Owners, Liz and Nathan are wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable about the area etc. Lovely breakfast included. Property is walkable to the cute town featuring several shops and restaurants. We would definitely recommend and would return in the future."

"Spacious lounge with super comfortable furniture, outdoor picnic table for nice weather, well stocked kitchen. The beds were great too. Nice welcoming and “homey” touches - chocolate on our pillows, bath salts, cookies in the cupboard. It is a recommended stay."
