"An ideal location with balcony overlooking the lake at Te Anau. Very friendly staff and a great location with only a short walk to the centre , and the shops and restaurants there. A well lid out apartment with a small but adequate kitchenette (no oven) but still managed to cook a Christmas dinner."

"Although the name is Motel, for us it felt like a five-star hotel. Even though we had only booked two nights, upon arrival the staff member explained everything we needed to know, not only about our stay, but also about the city, places to visit, and good restaurant options. In the room, we found everything needed for a comfortable stay. Apart from the very clean room and bathroom, the furniture and facilities showed that they had thought of everything a guest might need—from spare remote-control batteries to an extra trash bin 🙂 We stayed in several hotels during our New Zealand trip, and I would rate Parkland at the top. I hope they maintain the same level of quality for all guests, and hopefully we can come back and stay again, definitely for more than just two nights."

"Location was perfect! Walkable distance to most things. Very spacious and plenty of room to sleep a big family. No locks on toilet or bathroom, but we stayed with our little family so wasn’t that big of a deal. Easy check in and check out. Would definitely stay here again."

"The apartment was beautiful, clean and well presented. Staff were lovely. The kitchenette was well stocked with all the things you need to cook. No oven but a cook top and microwave. Motel is clise to the centre of town and the lake side. "
